Dr. Robert Yang, DVM

President of FASAVA Congress 2026

Dear FASAVA Members:

It was 10 years ago when FASAVA congress was in Taiwan in 2015; after 10 years, I am honored to welcome the FASAVA Congress to Taiwan again.

In my nearly 30 years of veterinary practice, I have witnessed the rapid and continuous development of the small animal healthcare industry. As the relationship between companion animals and humans has evolved, the role of veterinarians has become even more important in families today.

Veterinarians also play significant role in public health. We are not only committed to preventing zoonotic diseases like rabies and avian influenza, but also ensuring food safety and health for both humans and animals. We strive to apply our lifelong learning to improve the overall social environment and connect with the world.

Joining FASAVA allows us to deeply connect with the latest developments in small animal healthcare worldwide, continuously improve, and contribute more to the development of medicine, and we are excited to communicate and learn with veterinarians from around the world at each congress.

We sincerely invite you to Taiwan in 2026, to learn and witness the latest developments in small animal healthcare together in the new year!

Sincerely,
Dr. Robert Yang, DVM
21st President of Taipei Veterinary Medical Association
