Dr. Yong-Wei Hung, BVM, MS, DAiCVIM (Cardiology), FASE, is a veterinary cardiologist and Superintendent and Chief Cardiologist of Cardiospecial Veterinary Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. He received his veterinary degree from National Taiwan University and later obtained a Master of Science from The Ohio State University. He completed advanced cardiology training at North Carolina State University and the Ohio State University Veterinary Teaching Hospitals. Dr. Hung is the founding president of the Taiwan College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and currently serves as President of the Cardiology Subspecialty of the Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include small animal cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure management. Dr. Hung has authored numerous publications and is a frequent invited speaker at international veterinary conferences.
