Dr. Grace Peichun Lai, DVM, MSc, DACVS-SA, is a board-certified small animal surgeon with extensive experience in advanced small animal surgery and surgical education. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from National Chung-Hsing University and a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Bristol. Dr. Lai completed a small animal surgery residency at the University of Georgia and additional research training at Michigan State University. She previously served as Professor of Small Animal Surgery at the City University of Hong Kong. Her clinical interests include advanced cardiothoracic surgery, complex thoracic diseases, fracture repair, and reconstructive microsurgery. Dr. Lai has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and frequently lectures internationally on small animal surgery and advanced surgical techniques.
