Dr. Jerzy Paweł Gawor, DVM, PhD, Dipl. AVDC, Dipl. EVDC, is a board-certified veterinary dentist and Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Agricultural University of Wrocław in Poland and later obtained his PhD in veterinary surgery. Dr. Gawor is the founder of the ARKA Veterinary Clinic in Kraków, Poland, and has dedicated his career to veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. He has authored more than 160 publications and presentations and several book chapters on small animal dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Gawor has served as President of the European Veterinary Dental Society, President of the European Veterinary Dental College, and President of the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA). He currently serves on the Board of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and was elected President-Elect of WSAVA in 2024.
