Dr. Han-Yun Hannah Cheng, DVM, MVM, DACVIM (Oncology), is a board-certified veterinary oncologist and Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Veterinary Medicine from National Taiwan University, where she completed a medical oncology residency. She later completed additional oncology residency training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Cheng’s research focuses on veterinary oncology and translational cancer research, including immunotherapy approaches such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, CAR-T cell therapy, and natural killer cell therapy. Her clinical interests include chemo-radiation therapy, oncology clinical trials, and the treatment of complex tumors in dogs and cats.
