Dr. Nai-Chieh Liu, DVM, MPhil, PhD, DAiCVS, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. She received her DVM from National Taiwan University and completed her MPhil and PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK. She also underwent advanced clinical training in small animal surgery and airway surgery at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Liu specializes in small animal surgery, with a focus on upper airway, head and neck surgery, and brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS). She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is an internationally recognized speaker in this field. Her research integrates clinical surgery, imaging, and respiratory physiology to improve outcomes in companion animals.
