Dr. Manbok Jeong, DVM, MS, PhD, DAiCVO, is an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Ophthalmology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chonnam National University in South Korea. He received his veterinary degree from Chonnam National University, followed by a Master of Science in Veterinary Clinical Sciences from Konkuk University and a PhD in Veterinary Medicine from Seoul National University. He became a Diplomate of the Asian College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2013. Dr. Jeong has extensive clinical and research experience in veterinary ophthalmology, including postdoctoral training at the University of Missouri, Iowa State University, and Purdue University. His research focuses on retinal cell biology, comparative studies of retinal diseases, and the development of corneal and retinal organoids for translational and clinical applications.
